Start as a florist In 1949, Xenia Friedenstab founded a flower and wreath-making business in what was then Oeslau, now Rödental. 1949 Relocation to a larger production facility The still young company Xenia Friedenstab Blumen- und Kranzbinderei moves to Ostpreussenstrasse. The larger premises are already urgently needed at this time. 1958 First injection moulding machine In the still very young market for plastics, we purchased our first injection moulding machine in 1963. 1963 Strong growth In times of strong growth, we had to quickly expand our office, warehouse and other facilities. Parallel to the expansion at the former headquarters, we acquired the property "Am Bahnhof 8" and began building a warehouse. 1967 Our main work in the 70s Our former main plant with office building, production and the warehouse at the factory from the air. 1976 State-of-the-art injection moulding Our then ultra-modern spray shop in the basement at our site in Ostpreußenstr. 13. 1980 Further expansion This is followed shortly afterwards by a further expansion of the office and warehouse buildings as part of an extension to the headquarters and the next expansion of the property with the purchase of "Am Bahnhof 12". 1989 Brand new machine hall We had our current machine hall built in 1992 and were thus able to come another step closer to our goal of an efficient and stringent flow of goods. 1992 New spray shop at the railway station The picture shows our injection moulding shop at Bahnhof 8 to 12 in Rödental. We were already working with Arburg as a strong partner back then. 1995 The 2nd generation takes over Rainer Friedenstab takes over the management of the company in 1999. At the same time, Friedenstab Kunststofftechnik celebrates its 50th anniversary. 1999 Entry into photovoltaics The first photovoltaic system is installed very early on the roof of the machine hall at the railway station 8-12. 2006 3rd generation gets on board Christian Friedenstab joins the company and drives the company's development forward with his own ideas and expertise. 2012 ISO certification Friedenstab Kunststofftechnik GmbH has been ISO 9001 certified since 2014. 2014 Christiane Rädlein joins the management team Christian Rädlein, daughter of Rainer Friedenstab, joins the family business. 2019 Expansion of photovoltaic system In 2023, the existing photovoltaic system will be significantly expanded and will now cover a large part of the electricity production, thus ensuring sustainable plastics production. 2023 VDE certification We have been VDE-certified for the manufacture of household sockets since 2024. 2024 Construction site of a machine hall, the shell of Friedenstab Kunststofftechnik can already be seen.
